UC 2
On my last pilgrimage to the UK to photograph preserved steam railways, I was quite surprised by a red-legged partridge which decided to stroll across the line while I was waiting for the next train to arrive. Question - why did the partridge cross the track ? Because he thought he was a rail ?

The Bird lovers do get the rail joke. My health seems to be improving and I 'm hoping to again become an active particccipating member of this maarveeelous club. George Young

Maybe the pear trees were full....
It saw the Partridge Family on the other side?
