Christmas Lights
Christmas is a very special time. I remember when I was a kid; Christmas time was the happiest period of the year and was surrounded by some kind of magic. Now I see how people get hysterical because of shopping for a long list of gift that social pressure imposes. Christmas is not about shopping, it is about be in peace with each other, see people we love and have not seen for a long time, being happy and sharing our happiness. Last year I took these photos in New York and with them, I would like to introduce in our club the Christmas mood for this year.

Night Scenes
A scene under different light situations provides us with a variety of views from the same subject. When I compare these night photos with the equivalents under daylight, they communicate to me a totally different visual impression. The quality of the photos varies depending on if I was able to use the tripod.Kon_OmboLondon Luxor_Temple_1 Luxor_Temple_2 Luxor_Temple_3 Luxor_Temple_4 Melbourne_1 Melbourne_2 Melbourne_3 NYC_1 NYC_2 NYC_3 Paris_1 Paris_2 Paris_3 Paris_4 Paris_5 Perth Perth_2 Rome_1 Rome_2 Rome_3 Rome_4 Rome_5 Rome_6 Rome_7 Tower_Bridge Vienna_1 Vienna_2 Vienna_3 Vienna_4 Vienna_5 Vienna_6

Varanasi, the most sacred city in India
I have many photos I have taken during vacation and when I have a chance on business trips. I will start posting this group I took in Varanasi, India during a vacation trip in January.
India is a fascinating and incredible place full of interesting and friendly people.
Is a place where you can take thousands of photos and always have more to take. Delays in trains and flights are common, sanitary standards are different, but if you take any inconvenience with good spirit, you will have a wonderful time.
Varanasi is the most sacred city in India. The ghats along the Ganges River are where people go to take baths, do the laundry and deposit the ashes of their love ones. Every night there are religious ceremonies in some of the most important ghats. There is a crematory by the river and lot of narrow streets full of people buying and selling all sorts of things.
I found very interesting, the cows eat anything they find, not grass. The night I was walking to see the ceremony in the ghats, I saw a cow walking into a dress store. When I returned the caw was sitting inside the store and this is the photo you see here.
In coming weeks I will share photos from other places I went in India. Today we are lucky, the flight was delayed only 4 hours Ceremony in the ghats, Varanasi Ghats at night, Varanasi Sacred Cow, Varanasi India Doing the laundry, Varanasi The Ghats Old man, Varanasi Shiva Follovers, Varanasi India Crematory, Varanasi Selling wood for cremation, Varanasi Having breakfast, Varanasi In the temple, Varanasi Selling fruits, Varanasi Varanasi, India Construction workers, Varanasi A soda please Preparing tea, Varanasi Taking a taxi, Varanasi Fresh, never frozen Selling flowers for the temple, Varanasi
