Is the Tamron 18-270mm lens glass quality are the same as the Nikon kit lens?
I have the 18-55 and 55-200 VR Nikon VR lens kit that comes with the Nikon D80, but I want all-in-one lens. I've been reading a ton or comments about the Tamron 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD ASPH. AF Macro Lens and it seems very well built for price ranges. The Nikon 18-200mm costs $ 400 more and not have that money a little. I'm tired of changing lenses on the fly and really want an all-in-one, but the kit Nikon lenses offer "much better" glass? I use the Nikon D90 and I am a casual photographer and I'm assuming the glass of this objective will be to be a pro-rate target, but glass is comparable to the Tamron lens quality glass from the Nikon kit lens brand?
