What is the best all round lens for a Canon EOS Kiss Digital X Camera?
I bought a Canon EOS Kiss Digital was not the lens of the same. The control of the Canon store seems there are so many options. Help!
The best all-around "lens Canon 18-200mm IS lens. It covers an wide range, going from wide angle to decent telephoto relatively long. Comes with $ 550 price tag though. Just to avoid illusions, however, the goal question is what is called "Jack of All Trades, master of none". Or in other words, while in the literal sense, substitute a bag of goals can lead with you, it has some shortcomings in almost all focal lengths, for doing such a great piece of glass 11x has some commitments. For best performance, fill your bag with 2.3 lenses to cover the same range, but with less zoom. For example, 18-55 and 55-200 are a popular combination … Probably going to save a few hundred dollars and also better image quality. Then you can further break down, including some cousins for focal lengths often needed, or ultra wide angles. But that of course is going to cost, respectively. In total – about 95% of people who use 18-200 lenses above have noted deficiencies optical, or account, but did not much care. If you are one of the 5% that "the need for perfection, you might consider other ways, but otherwise it is an option 18-200 Decent to good price, and you probably will not have to worry about another lens for a while, until you are ready to make a more serious and specific, such as landscape architectural photography (need for wider angle), flowers and insects (macro), Sports / action (fast lens), or other types of photography that require a lens optics have some particular qualities. But knowing you only when you've used the camera for a while, and discovered what limits their creative ambitions, then you will know which way to go! LEM. PS Just reread my answer and I realized that I've given a lot of relatively expensive options, without knowing its budget. If your budget is limited, making 18-55mm IS lens, for now. That will give you a good start, and then, as I said above you can add more to it as necessary, as 55-200, 70-300, etc to telephoto, or maybe you'd like to go further …. 18-55 that will cost about $ 150 for now, and worry about the rest more evening.
