As you can see I had to sharpen a couple of them.
B&W Challenge (Storm Clouds)
Plus, here's some fair weather clouds, tossed in just for contrast.
Most of these shots were taken on the same day (my personal faves are 2nd and last)
Stormy Moods
The pearling luggers are berthed in Darwin, in the top most part of Australia in the Northern Territory. Tropical storms are a daily occurence and this one was building.
B&W Challenge
I did have to dig into the archives for this challenge...,our rainy season is from Jan-Apr and this year it's been dry.
The temp today is a mild 74/degrees
Today's outlook
Challenge: Next Challenge - Storms, In Black and White
The idea is to capture a sense of foreboding, an imminent threat, something that would make you feel uneasy - weather related of course.
I think we may have ample opportunity to capture something along these lines. It doesn't need to be a recent image, so you can go back to your archives and find something appropriate. It just has to be in black and white. Toned B&W is also acceptable.
Attached are two examples, which will also be my initial entries.
Just two additional rules:
- Protect your equipment, and
- Stay Safe!
