Well, I thought I would sneak another set in since I have a new compact camera..,which I have been carrying for a couple of days and putting it through a workout. So far, I really like it and would recommend it. These shops are all in the Enderle Center, a small shopping plaza a few miles from home (Orange County is rich with shopping opportunities, a fact a friend laments since she moved to Laughlin AZ).

Window Shopping
The month end is fast approaching so tonight, despite a light drizzle, I picked up my girl friend and set out to take pictures of store windows. We ended up at Downtown Disney. I got my pictures and also a bag of Caramel Kettle Corn so the night was a complete success. Here are the results.
Window Dressing
Shimmerilliance was displayed in a formal wear hire shop. The shop is an old building with really heavy window frames that just did not work in the photos, so I needed to "deframe the frame" so to speak, otherwise I could have ended up with a nice ummmm... 'armless couple in formal attire! The shimmer of the satin is what first caught my eye, so that's what I tried for.

It was a cool Autumn night as the lone photographer wandered the streets in a quest for suitable challenge material...
Looks like I'm the first off the line and there will be more to come.
Tacky Windows on Hollywood Beach
I was taking an early morning stroll on the broadwalk and decided I needed some caffein to keep me going. To my dismay Barnie's was defunct so I kept trekking. And then I spotted it - Tequiza - my favorite! However, it was only 9 a.m. - a little too early for a beer - didn't feel like waiting an hour to quench my thirst. So I bought a losing lottery ticket, stopped off to see sexy alligator-man and went home to get a drink.
Moral of the story: there probably is
Did I have coffee or beer when I got home: why should I have to choose

Challenge: April Challenge
I wanted to do something that would be hard but would be possible for everyone. So with no further BS here it is!

Rules this can be a shop window, or any window of a place of business where goods are displayed. It must be after sunset and before sun rise.
