Honestly, I didn't anticipate that this challenge would spark such a plethora of puns!
The Hands Challenge is coming to a close. We've had a lot of great entries so far, but there's still room for more. So get your last minute entries uploaded to enter!
I'd like to start the voting process on Tuesday Jan 30th. I will count the votes on Feb 1st and announce the winner. Please review the entries from the "current bi-weekly challenge / entries" link (there are too many to list here). To vote, please e-mail me your top three favorite entries. Include both the photograph name and the name of the photographer in your vote. Please identify your votes in terms of your first, second, and third favorite (I may need to use the order to break a tie). Holding onto mom
This little gadget was purchased off one of those shopping channels many moons ago. When I received it, I threw it in a drawer & forgot about it. Then one day I came across it and started to play with it.
I loved it because it was evocative of the spy movies, I felt mysterious and clever.
The photos were not great quality, but nonetheless, it produced a treasure in the form of a photo of my mother & I holding hands when she went into the hospital.
I still have the gizmo, but it's back in the drawer, waiting for an adventure.
Challenge: January Challenge - "Hands"
Everybody has them, and uses them constantly. But they are not often the main subject of our photos. This month, show me hands! Hands at work, hands at play, old and wrinkly hands, or tiny soft baby hands. The only rule is this: the subject of the photo must be one or more hands.
Run out and hire yourself a model (or just coax someone into letting you use their hands), use your creativity, and most importantly, Have FUN!
