This was my nephew's son( 1 1/2 years old)shaddow on the beach at Matherson hammock this last weekend. The way he held his hand created this shaddow.
Capture NX did the rest. We have a UFO Cow flying over the beach dropping purple milk.

Now is the time to get your last minute challenge entries posted in time for voting. You can submit votes to me at smrua@beckman.com tomorrow (1/30) and Thursday (1/31) then I'll tally everything on Thursday evening and post results on Friday morning.
A question I have as "host" of this challenge is if I can vote? I know I can't submit, but would like to cast my votes. Someone please let me know if this is allowed. Thanks.

I took my two younger children to the Disney Playhouse Live! show at the Abraham Chavez Theater. While there, I decided to take the kids on a short walking tour of downtown El Paso.
The "escape" shots were taken on the walls of The Plaza Theatre, which first opened on Sept. 12, 1930.
The "captured" shadows behind bars, were taken at the Convention and Visitors Center, as was my "self shadow."
My daughter's posed shadows were taken in the gray contrete courtyard outside the Art Museum, and I compiled them into a collage. Other than the cropping that occurs with the collage template, no other changes were made whatsoever to the photos. They look like they were taken in black and white, but they were taken in full color.
Whew!!! I thought I'd never get an entry in to this challenge! Most days, I leave the house while it's still dark, and return well after sundown.
Don't you just love three-day weekends?
Shadow Entries
All comments are welcomed and appreciated. Enjoy.
Let us turn our creativity towards the dark side --- shadows. There really is only one rule to this challenge to add interest, and hopefully more of a challenge: the object casting the shadow(s) cannot be in the image. Silhouettes aren't allowed (technically not a new rule, but a clarification of the only rule).
So let's get creative and see what we can come up with for some shadows.
