Slide switch on the camcorder battery – why?
I bought a camcorder battery (CGR-D16). It has a switch sliding on the back, but the two positions are not labeled. Does anyone have any knowledge about this type of battery and what the switch is for?
Some batteries have a switch that is red or black side is exposed. This is to help you remember to charge the battery in your bag camera. You can choose a color for the posts and then switch after downloading to recognize it as discharged.
